i have mixed feelings about this book. I really liked it, but it wasn’t one of my favorites? I read an article saying that the main characters were going to be the next Edward and Bella, but I’m sorry I just don’t see it. And before anyone thinks that im a die hard twilight fan and nothing compares to it… Well that is not the case. Don’t get me wrong.. I very much enjoyed the twilight books.. But the book I read before I Am Number Four had a more realistic, intense love that nothing can really compare to? So it was a little hard for me to believe John’s and Sarah’s love. However, I still think it was a good young adult book. The movie comes out in a week.. I definitely am going to see it. But based off the trailer.. I don’t think it’s going to be like the book.. So I’m just going to go see the movie as a movie and nothing else. I’m a little shocked they are already making a movie when the book left it open in the end for a sequel. You’d think they would wait until all the books are written?? No?? Is that just me? Anyways.. A very easy entertaining read. Just not life changing.

I’ve been seeing the movie trailer all over the TV for the movie that is based off of this book. Of course I want to see the movie because the girl who plays Quinn on Glee is in it… YES. I AM A BIG NERD. Therefore.. this is my next read. It sounds very interesting.

I have never read a book like this before. It was smart. It was heartbreaking. It was funny. It was romantic. It was unbelievably well written. And I can’t believe the author is a man. Not to be sexist.. But I generally only read books by women because they tend to understand what I want to read. One Day was so refreshing. It has definitely become one of my all time favorite books. I am begging everyone to read this book. PLEASE. Can’t wait to see the movie.
I give this book: 10 out 5. Seriously.

My Booky Wook Review

Wow. well… what can I say? I really really really want to say great things about this book, but in reality? I never finished. I only got half way through and it was partially because I got bored. I love his stand up and I am actually genuinely a pretty big fan, but just.. i couldn’t read anymore about another girl he slept with and another drug he did. It became very repetitious. I love reading books that pull me into the story.. The ones that hold me and don’t let me go.. This just didn’t do it. Very disappointed.

Today my brother said to me that if I were to belong in a certain area.. it would be England. I love british TV, humor, comedians, music, etc. Russell Brand is one of my favorites and he is married to one of my favorite music artists. I’m excited to read this book and hope to overcome the challenge of his british slang.
Water for Elephants Review

I normally do not read books like this. Normally when I think of New York Times Bestseller.. I think of books middle aged women like to read and sit in a circle to talk about. I saw the movie trailer for Water for Elephants and was immediately curious. I gave it a try and read the first chapter.. What was going through my mind? OH MY GOD. I had to keep reading. This book is beyond well written. i love it when i read a book and actually feel like i am there. i mean hell… we normally read for two reasons. reason one: to become informed and more educated. reason two: to get away from reality. This book was hard to put down and took me to a world that i never thought i could be apart of. Please Please Please read this book.
I give this book: 6 out of 5. it’s beyond.

How to Get Divorced by 30 Review

I read this book super fast. It honestly wasn’t what I expected. I thought it was going to be more of a comedy, but instead it was kind of heartbreaking. I really enjoyed Sascha’s writing style and how she told her story. The only bad thing I can say is that it did have some slow moments in the book, but the juicy parts outweighed the boring. I will say this.. My entire life I’ve always wanted to get married and don’t get me wrong.. I still do.. However, I now have decided that getting married before 30 is not for me. It’s so easy to just jump into a relationship and decide this is the person I want to spend the rest of my life with.. But not a lot of people really sit back and think about what the relationship actually is. We get caught up in the feelings and ignore everything that is wrong. I know that I am the kind of girl who thinks before I act and i don’t really see that changing. I really think this book showed me that I am on the right track. I learned that I shouldn’t just jump into a relationship with the first guy that shows interest. Remember not to settle and that you are the prize.
